What usually fails
Bien-Air high-speeds usually come in for a turbine, not a new Tornado.
Prestige
LED or turbine
Shorter typical warranty on some Prestige work. The estimate says so.
MX2 / 1:5
Electric torque
Estimate first. Parts run higher.
Bien-Air, from label to bench
Tracked label, sterilized pack, estimate, then work. 48-hour bench upon request.
-
Tornado turbine
Typically $235 with a 1-year typical warranty on Tornado and Bora.
-
Electrics
MX2, MCX, and 1:5L are estimate-first.
Care notes
Keep the unit you already own. Mail it when oil is not enough.
-
Tornado / Bora spray
Lubricate as Bien-Air specifies. Do not assume KaVo oil is correct.
-
Prestige LED
LED and turbine can fail together. Note both on the card.
-
MX2 is electric
Do not treat an MX2 like an air turbine. Estimate first.
Warranty
Typical Tornado and Bora turbines carry a 1-year typical warranty. Prestige is typically 6 months. The estimate states the warranty for your repair.
No work starts without your approval. If a repair is not economical, you hear that first.
