Models we repair
Typical ranges from the bench, labeled typical. The estimate is the number for your unit.
| Family | Typical | Note |
|---|---|---|
| High-speed, contra-angle, coupler | Estimate on arrival | Repair, not a new-unit sale |
| Electric MK-Dent | Estimate first | Volume specials do not apply to electric. |
First-time handpiece specials: 10% off 1 repair, 15% off 3, 20% off 5. They do not apply to sensors.
What usually fails
MK-Dent repair is the service. Refurbished extras, if you need a spare, live on eBay.
Contra-angle
Play or heat
Overhaul when the housing is sound.
Coupler
Leak or spin
Send the coupler with the handpiece if you can.
How MK-Dent repair works here
Tracked label, sterilized pack, estimate before work. 48-hour bench upon request.
-
No shop cart
This page is repair. You get an itemized estimate, not a product checkout.
-
60-day note
Handpieces left after an estimate for more than 60 days need a call. Do not let a quote sit in a drawer.
Care notes
Keep the unit you already own. Mail it when oil is not enough.
-
Same oil-and-pull rule
Lubricate as MK-Dent specifies. Pull noise instead of running it.
-
Send the coupler
If the coupler leaks or will not spin, pack it with the handpiece.
-
Refurbished extras
Repair stays on this page. Tested refurbished units are on the Arpino eBay store.
Warranty
The estimate states the warranty for your MK-Dent repair. Handpieces left more than 60 days after an estimate need a call.
No work starts without your approval. If a repair is not economical, you hear that first.
We repair the brands already in the operatory
KaVo vs NSK and Midwest vs W&H are not shopping questions here. Send the handpiece you already own.
Send it in and get the number
Sterilize, pack so it cannot rattle, and ship. Amanda can text a tracked label while you are still in the operatory.
